RB is responsible for that colossal block that allowed Penny to step up plant and find Martin on that TD... Best all around not yet but he is spectacular at times..., he can identify the rusher or blitzer... lock horns and block...

RB is going to find his groove in the next 4-5 years..., I don't think the coaches will want him off the field... too much...

1000 yard season is still plausible for RB but I prefer a healthy RB and RW for the play-offs...

It's why we drafted him . . . he was the best overall offensive player in that draft. He did it all as a RB . . . sub 4.4 speed, WR hands . . . solid blocking ability. Ronnie has not yet put it together for a full season (though he was doing it last year before the ACL injury) . . . but at times Ronnie has glimpses of being the best back in the league. That run out the wildcat yesterday may have saved our season . . . was a spectacular run (Pennington with the block).

ronnie is the best blocking back we have, the best receiving back we have, and the best back for just running we have...

the coaching staff though not wanting to lean on him disturbs me... everytime its 3rd down and hes NOT in there im furious... hes the ideal 3rd down back with his skill set...

why hes not the focus of our offense and our primary, every down back is beyond me...

Ditto that..., he can beat you for 2-3 yards more han a few ways... swing pass being a good option... off the PA to Polite up the gut...

True again Kdawg... I think the staff is holding him back because of his injury history...

i agree. he has had some great blocks in the backfield....but, its a shame this year his "WR hands" has seem to have disappeared. he has more drops this year, then the rest of his career. he probably has the most drops on the team this year to.

Yea he has had a few drops this year . . . I think 3 or 4 if I'm not mistaken, that is more than you like from your star RB . . . but its not horrid, I think Gore has 5 or 6 this year.

I think Ginn has the most drops with 6 so far.

Ronnie had 2 yesterday. and ive seen 2 other games with him having mulitiple drops. hes got more then 3-4. even if ginn has 6, which off the top of my head id say he has 5, i think Ronnie has more then him. i dont know the actual #s however. obviously the skills are there, gotta be mental lapses.

He hasn't had that many drops this year. I hardly consider 4 or 5 (even 6 or 7) "alot" of drops.

Its weird that a couple times this year we've heard broadcasters say something like Sparano plans to give Ricky more of the load during a game or following halftime. I think Ricky has been pretty good this year, but I still think Ronnie has been better. And its inexplicable why when Ronnie is running the ball well they pull him out and give Ricky the next handful of carries.

And I'm freaking tired of seeing Ricky stuffed at the line on 2nd/3rd and 1. Ronnie is nearly automatic on those short yardage situations, why is he not being utilized there?

considering his amount of catches it is. if he has 5 drops that would mean he drops 1 every 5 passes to him. for a RB that is suppose to have WR hands(which i believe he does), that is to much. specially some of the passes he has dropped this year.

According to this site (not including this past game) . . . Ronnie was not on the list when it came to 4 drops . . . meaning he had 3 or less. So I'm guessing that the most he has is 5 drops . . . could be less (but I do agree, it seems as if he has dropped more this season). Ginn Jr. is up to six drops.

I think it could be mental lapses, Ronnie drops those screen passes . . . usually that means he was trying to get up field before he has secured the ball. It hasn't been horrific, but I agree it has been noticeable.
