with everybody down on the randyman i am currious in knowing are there any f/a tight ends available in f/a this year and who in the draft is a hot prospect? i havent heard anything on this and this is why i am asking. I am not sure we will draft a tight end but i would think we will bring in another tightend one site had us switching to a 2 fullback system intead of 2 te's i am not sure where i heard this but i am not i heard barnes name mentioned much this year.:ninja:

man cmon

do you read the articles on this site?! There is a breakdown of the te /wr available in the primers on the main page try reading it.

Isn't one of the pats TEs a free agent too? I don't remember which, but I don't know either that it would be much of an upgrade

EDIT: Daniel Graham is the one.

Daniel Graham is a solid TE and a great blocker in the running game. Eric Johnson isn't much of an athlete, but he apparently has great hands.

There aren't a whole lot of options out there, but at least we're servicable with McMichael, Peele, Rader, and a 4th TBD.

I really don't believe TE is a priority for this team. Randy McMichael is still a playmaker. Although he has a strong tendency to disappear for games at a time, he still has the ability to make big plays and change a few games per year as well. I don't think we'll be using as many two TE sets either. We'll see alot more use of the FB or 3 WR sets. Justin Peele is a very viable option behind McMichael too. He may not be the playmaker or game-change that Randy is, but he's a better blocker and has good hands.

Odds are the only kind of TE Miami might be in the market for is a blocking TE. They arent likely to replace McMichael. He's thrived in Norv Turners offense, the same as Cameron is running.

Peelle has experience in the offense, but the tendency is for the 2nd TE to be a big time blocker. The Chargers brought 6'2" 288 pound TE Brandon Manumaluena to replace Peelle.

Eric Johnson > McMike

not by a hell of a lot.......but the dude is good and consistant

Uh, what? Would you call this consistent?
