It was upsetting to hear we didn't get Mawae. I hope we dont bring McKinney back. Center is our weak link.

Dont know much about him. Is he an upgrade to McKinney? Is it possible to keep Hadnot at center and get a new right Guard?
 
Mitchell would be good because of his strength. He's not the kind of center however that will hit the second level and take out LBs though like Mawae, but he is athletic enough...

He'd be great in pass protection no doubt.
 
I would LOVE to see Hadnot at center and us picking up Stephan Neal, im from mass so i see all the pats game and this guy is a mauler, im very surpirsed the pats arent resigning him i think we should move fast
 
My 3 year old nephew can run over McKinney (I hope he's reading this..incentive) There are 2 as I mentioned in a previous post jeff Mitchell of the panthers and Jeff Fanine of the browns. Bothe are going to be available now because of the accqusitions their teams have made.

Yeah, McKinney pretty much sucked. Looks like either are upgrades.

Seth should be demoted to End & Guard as in end of the bench & guard the waterbucket.

Don't forget about Wade Smith.

If Marvin Philip of Cal or Will Montgomery of Va Tech take one in the 7th round. Jesse Boone of the University of Utah s/b available as an UDFA.
 
If we can't find an upgrade in FA, I'm thinking Hadnot could be our center with Carey moving inside.. A lineup of Shelton-James-Hadnot-Carey-Alabi doesn't look too shabby.

I would look at Trey Teague. He's not a "top" center, but he's definatly an upgrade over Mckinney

I keep hoping Houck can do something with Wade Smith. I wasnt very impressed with him before the injury. I guess we will find out in Training camp.
 
I wouldnt mind looking at Hartwig, didnt know he was free, fairly young and a good center.
