I said Geno didn't so much but you have to factor in all the brand new pieces this rookie QB ha don Sunday. The best thing he did was not turn it over which he easily could have done.
Geno has struggled w/ Tos but he wasn't ready to start. In a perfect world mark would have been healthy and we'd have another win or 2 and be legit AFC east contenders but geno was forced into action and we are legit playoff contenders. He'll get better(I hope) and I have ben down on him at times but not Sunday, he didn't do much but he didn't kill us either.
sorry I rarely read rep comments, and it takes a lot of work to leave more than one negative rep a day.
And that's about all you can ask for from a rookie QB, typically. Just don't lose the game.

Did I miss the part where you jumped off the Sanchez bandwagon? Was there not some sort of ceremony?
Nope, I wish he was healthy as I think we'd have more wins BUT his time here is done and no matter who is at QB I want them to help our team win. Geno has played well at times and poorly at times and my longterm judgement is still TBD but I am satisfied for now w/ his progress.

The Jets defensive line has to be excited about playing the Fins. This could look like a jail break for 4 quarters.
That is a game that should be dominated by both defenses but you never know. we thought that w/ the early season games in 2009 and 2010 and both turned out to be shootouts.

how many times he even throw the ball felt like less than 10 i know that much...threw balls away in the tight red he gave up on too early too...and i think if i recall correctly he also threw a ball into triple coverage that should have been picked was lucky to get away with...
anyways if we want to make an argument about what he didn't have can we make the same one about brees not having colston and sproles going out on the first play pretty much who is a huge part of their 3rd down offense and mismatch for thier scheme...hell brees had nick toon and the okla rookie stills as his starters in this one...
and we all know that saints d is not the same outside of the home confines and it showed ugly sunday
yeah i guess you can be excited about him not making any mistakes...if that gets you excited...what i see is a guy who if the run game isn't gashing people you guys are in trouble
He didn't throw a lot which was smart, our MVP on O has been Marty.
He didn't see the safety on that play you mentioned, he got lucky but it was never really in danger of being picked luckily.
Brees is Brees and he still had much more talent than Geno had, Brees is a top 5 QB and knows that O in and out, geno is a rookie still learning. W/o a doubt the injuries helped our D and hurt Brees but he still had enough to win.
Sunday was the only game where the run game gashed anyone and we have won 4 other games so I am not sure you can say that.
