Did the Falcons do that? Wow, too bad they don't have a QB like Tannehill, that when the game is on the line at the end, no matter what the talent, will find a way to move the ball.
again, he was w/o Winslow, Holmes and Cumberland to start the game then lost Kerley in the game. Zach Sudfeld who we just acquired was starting, David Nelson who was in on the most plays was signed recently, Greg salas who we just signed was getting major PT, Josh Cribbs who we just signed got major PT. 3 of the top 4 receivers were not on our roster to start the season.
after the bye we'll get Holmes, winslow(hwo was our leading receiver before the suspension) and Cumberland back- that will be a HUGE difference.
The difference btw this year w/ that talent and last year is this year we can run it and this year we have marty running the O.

no...its actually not the same thing at all...miami had to go to it to take some heat off the pass rush and make em play honest...the way the jets were running without extra ots etc the qb should have done more...but in the first quarter even he airmailed a basic blitz beater outside the numbers at the sticks by 20 feet...
they trust him so much to not make mistakes they roll out the wildcat repeatedly...
honestly the day geno makes the same level read and throw that tannehill did on that tying drive after being sacked on a nothing he could do about it play by nate garner is the day you guys get back to me...he can't make that read or those throws...not the ball down the seam leveraged away from the defenders where only mathews could go get it nor the underneath man 2 deep safety ball to hartline for 20 yard gain into field goal range...

stop making excuses...its weak sauce...the saints d was parting like the red sea the entire game and the qb did nothing...if you can't throw the ball when you get 200 yards rushing you can never throw it...
your team load up stop the run play the screen game on long downs and distances and make the qb beat you...like a lot of teams with inept qb play
or the guy who's no longer waiting for the 2nd half of one and done big games to choke but instead recently has been putting up more than 3X the number of interceptions to TDs and has about a 60 sumptin QBR over the last 2games, while over the last 2 halves characteristically put up a total of 7pts?

jets run game is nice but there's ABSOLUTELY no reason anyone should line up in anything other than an 8 man box vs that qb...
Geno Smith may be playing not unlike a typical rookie QB overall, but he's actually tied with Russell Wilson for the most game-winning drives in the league, and he's tied with several others for the most fourth-quarter comebacks this year.
stop making excuses? your chosen one threw 3 INTs w/ his full compliment of weapons and cost his team a chance in NO. Geno didn't have a great game but it's not an excuse discussing the guys we had in the game that weren't good enough to make other rosters and we acquired in recent weeks.
NO's D had no problems stopping your O and your QB, why couldn't they stop us?

Im not arguing with you about Geno's Myth. I dont believe you can find anywhere that I have stated he will ever be any good.
The point Im making is that most of the stuff you said about Geno's Myth in your previous post could also be attributed to Tannehill. So just as the Jests are wasting time....... pot/kettle scenario.
We have seen what happens when we turn the offense loose for Tannehill...... sacks, fumbles, turnovers, and a complete lack of points. Let me know the next time we find 30 of them.

There is no bullying on this board. However, there are cliques. It's annoying that certain people have certain disciples who agree with them on bended knee only because they WANT them to be right all the time. The fact of the matter is, these people who are called geniuses are right and wrong as often as the person who doesn't proclaim themselves as experts. BUT, everyone has a right to their opinion and that's why boards like this exist. No one is an expert because too many variables exist to always be right or wrong. I just stay even keeled and try to be as realistic as possible while keeping a positive attitude about the team I love.
