Are these our new throwback uniforms?

I don't know how I feel about them…I don't hate them, I certainly like them way better than what we are currently sporting. Love the aqua color, sleeve stripes, inclusion of orange, and lack of the new logo. Still don't like the Dolphins font and numbers.

I think it's weird that these have been promoted as a 1966 throwback, but appear to be more a mashup between that and the current unis.

What do you guys think?

Well, I would've thought the same, but don't you think it's odd they put on an official event, with a uniform we've never seen that mostly meets the criteria of a throwback? I'm not so sure this wasn't just a slip up somewhere in the pipeline. How else do we explain this?
 
I doubt it. Those jerseys have the modern number font. From my understanding, the throwbacks are supposed to be close replicas of the originals which used a different number font.
 
No they are not. Also I like the current color scheme and uniforms. I like the 70's and 80's unis too. Everything is better than the smiling cartoon dolphins poor Zach and JT had to wear during the 2000's, lets agree never to bring those ones back imo.
 
More than likely not. The number fonts are identical to the current jersey. as is the "Dolphins" on the chest.
 
Those are just jerseys for a youth team or camp.
 
Better not be. Keep every aspect of the trashy redesign off of anything called a "throwback".
 
Those are just for the camp. Looks like a combo of old and new. No way the organization would debut an alternate at this type of function. ... but 50% of people will see this thread and not pay attention to the posts that say they are not the alternates and will be pissed and comment saying "those are ugly!" and dog the Dolphins organization.

If you're smart and look closely... the 2 jerseys shown are COMPLETELY different in tailoring. The ones on the kids don't even say NFL.
 
They said July so I'm guessing we will have an announcement by Friday. I am hoping that they are indeed the ones that were leaked in a thread on here a few weeks back.

Personally, I like the trashy redesign (not the logo, though) much more than the cartoony black-shaded numbers we had prior. I like the '80s-esque Marino jerseys the best.
