i'm only half kidding... could the spread actually be that outrageous this week, considering our play thus far, and the Pats' statement at Cincy? oh my...

anyway, i can't bash Culpepper ... he played pretty darn well, considering he basically has "The Fat Boys" blocking for him...

granted, i mentioned Bennie Anderson there, who sucks... but our favorite team just refuses to build a decent O-Line... and hasn't since before JJ... that's MY biggest frustration... has been for over a decade... we had one decent year in '02 with a line that could roadgrade... but even they couldn't protect Fiedler... it's just awful the patchwork this team tries to get by with up front year after year... Kendal Jacox? Bennie Anderson? LJ Shelton? Seth McKinney? Damian McIntosh?... even Jeno James just doesn't get movement right now... Some scouts call him our best lineman?...Ouch...

Honestly, and it's no knock on him at tackle, but i think we'd be best served to put Carey at RG and McIntosh at RT... why not? i mean, Kendall Jacox is a liability, and we seem to have nothing left for guards... Alabi is not ready (or will he ever be?)..... Hadnot is somewhat out of position, we've turned RG into a horrible trouble spot... let's get our best 5 guys out there and hope for the best... even that's not saying much...

C'mon Hudson... i'll never bail on my team, but they're just not very fun to watch at all right now...
 
anyone who sees an early point spread, please link... anxious to see just how devalued we are right now...
 
when nails was healthy, we had a good line. but we played differently with a lot draws.

i notice that a lot of teams have the guard and tackle anchor and have the other 3 move one way to let the runner choose. i havent seen any of that really. maybe the line just sucks and it doesnt matter
 
well, i never bet on or against my dolphins... but it's the state of things i'm curious about... +10 sounds about right... but yeah, it's a cheap number for the pats right now...

though, even as a neutral fan, you have to take into consideration our consistent propensity to get after and harrass Tom Brady like few other teams...
 
If you have ever wanted to make money off an NFL game, THIS IS THE ONE!!! MIAMI WILL BEAT THE SPREAD!!! I am not saying they will win the game necessarily, but will beat the spread.
 
We get Morris back this week, right?

Does it sound really pathetic to suggest having him back might make a difference? That's where I'm at now. I'm guessing that's where we're all at.
 
I see the Dolphins giving the Pats a major scare in this game, but ultimately losing. The line is too fat for a divisional showdown

we get a defensive touchdown, and it's New England 31, Miami 23....
