It doesn't look like he's re-signed with the Steelers

i sure as hell hope we're interested in Chris Hope, if we are...we can release Lance Schulters, save a tiny bit of cash i guess.....then again Chris Hope may cost a bit. But id imagine we are into Chris, he is a big hitter...Saban likes intimidating guys...thats why i also think he will get LaVar Arrington. Can you imagine??:

Taylor, Adams, Traylor, Carter
Crowder, Thomas, Arrington
Poole, Daniels, Hope, Bell.

Besides the CBs, that defense would scare the hell out of anyone.

I think Saban would like Chris Hope but he is predicted to be the most expensive safety in FA. Doubt if Saban would want to spend that kind of cash on one guy.

u dont think Saban would want to spend a lot of money on a position we desperately need??? idk about you all, but for a guy like Chris Hope...he will settle our Safety problems for the next few years...and just use Yeremiah Bell as our other safety.

...they were discussing Hope on Fox Sports Radio other day and said he is damaged goods...

Everything I've read about him says he is a poor tackler and not very bright.....so I hope not.

LITTLE HOPE FOR CHRIS
Although ESPN's Len Pasquarelli has ranked Steelers safety Chris Hope as the No. 19 free agent available this offseason, Hope has yet to line up a single visit, even as other guys are criss-crossing the country in search of the big money that flows in the early days of the signing period.
So what's the problem? As one league source explained, "Hope has no one interested in him because all the teams get the films of all the games. He is slow, can't tackle, and he is dumb, all of the qualities that go into a big contract."
Ouch.
The fact that Hope has yet to even schedule a visit is significant in light of the fact that virtually every team was talking prior to Saturday at 12:01 a.m. to the guys in whom they had heavy interest. So the reality is that the 31 teams other than the Steelers haven't seen fit to include him in the game of musical chairs that, in early March, typically pays out more money than at any other time of the year.

you be the judge, are you interested in HOPE now?
