i wanna know if we are interested in cb will allen from the giants? he's a freaky fast cover corner and could be alot cheaper then ty law and could fill the hole that sam madison leaves in our defense. he got 10+ pass deflections every season, is a good tackler and i think under saban and the rest of the dolphins coaching staff he will play better and get more interceptions as in new york.

I'm from new york, I think it would be a good move to sign him. He doesn't get alot of int's but he is fast and talented. I trust Saban will look into him and do what is best for the phins.
 
i just fixed the link, it's just the link to his stats. i don't know what kind of contract he's looking for but i think he will be alot cheaper then ty law, we know from last year how much money he gets and now still wants...

Reportedly visited Miami on 3/16/06. Allen has been a starting cornerback for the last 5 years for the New York Giants, but was not signed at the start of free agency. His best year was his rookie season in 2001, when he had 45 tackles and 4 interceptions. Last year, he had 72 tackles and 11 passes defensed, but no interceptions.

I thought the Giants were looking to upgrade because they were not happy with Allen? Corey Webster looked good for them and they had Allen and yet their secondary was considered a major weakness.
 
Will Allen has brick hands and always gets hurt. He makes Howard look good!
 
Will Allen is garbage. He had one of the worst seasons I've ever seen from a CB in my life.
 
The Giants didn't even entertain a resign, and signed Madison and RW McQuarters....what does that say?
 
Agreed ...Will Allen is awful. Im from the jersey area and read all the NY papers and they rip Allen every week . He doesn't cover well and hardly has any int's. To put it midly, Hill and Goodman are much better then him, and thats saying a lot .
