I am starting to think that Taylor can not play as a 3 down LB. I think that defense last night actually misses Roth more then we all expected.

I also find when we send the house we do not put enough pressure on the QB he gets way to much time to throw that ball to single coverage across the field.

I think you are right. Also, since we are getting no pressure on the QB, it is time to see what Wake can do in those situations.

Roth is only good for his run support which we have been very good at thus far. We're not missing Roth right now but I agree with giving Wake some playing time, he can't do any worse coming off the edge than what we're seeing right now.

Actually, Roth devoured TE's across the middle. TE's were barely open last year.

I agree with the original poster, Taylor is a weak point in the defense. Roth was very underrated for what he did last year.

We are missing Goodman more then Roth right now!

I think our CBs have done a good job. Sean Smith played great last night and w. allen did as much goodman woulkd of done. That quick pass garcon was just manning reading our defense and man handling it. I also think on that play allen should of been pressing garcon then giving him a 10 yrd cushin.

We need faster pressure on the QB look at the jets and Giants did to the pats. Our rush just does not get there at all.

We're definitely missing Roth.

And i agree that our CB's are actually playing pretty well, in somewhat of a reveral of fortunes when we couldn't get quality CB play for years. It's the safeties that looked like trash last night, along with the Linebackers and D-Line. But safety is supposed to be the position we sured up in the off-season.

I agree that Roth did better than expected in coverage last year. I don't agree that JT is a weak point in the defense.

So where has JT been. I think he is a waste of space. The guy is done. Not to mention the game is at a critical point and they show JT on the sideline laughing.

He hasn't done squat since he has been back. He is definitely a weak point.
