of course our wins to loses is better .. but in reality didnt we lose 6 games by less than three points?? .. how many games this season have we won by the same margin or close to it .. i'm not trying to be a downer here after a great win .. but is this team really that much different than last years with the significance of one or two plays going in our favor to keep us from the upset of last season??

i'm drinking the playoff kool-aid and all .. but yesterdays win as well as the wins vs OAK and SEA is a strong wake up call that maybe we're not out of the doghouse just yet

The biggest difference from last year to this year is the coaching while the talent level is about the same sans the QB.

Yes we are REALLY better than last year. In the NFL, it's ALL about the wins. This isn't college ball. Style points don't matter.

winning close games as opposed to losing them is an improvement to me.

last year we found new ways to lose each week....now we are finding new ways to win. yeah, I'd say we are better.

I see where you are coming from. We winning these close games shows me that we are a better coached team. We are also one of the youngest teams in the NFL. Add another year of solid drafting and being 25+ million under the cap this off season will make us better.

ARE YOU KIDDING? :boohoo:

We are definitely better because we are winning games that we would have rolled over and died in the past few years when we were up against adversity. The biggest problem miami had through the wanny years to saban was the uncanny ability to just give up when something bad happened. That has changed this year once TS and BP got on board. It was like there was zero accountability with wanny and the rest of the regimes. The guys just seemed to collect their paychecks and didn't give a rats *** overall if they lost. I think zach and jason cared but sometimes the rest didn't seem to really deep down care.

We are turning it around. It is going to take time. I predict a one game exit in the playoffs IF we get there. It is something to build on though.

I think things that didn't go our way last year are going our way this year. Like being healthier and having a softer schedule.

Not really sure where you are going with this but in case you didn't notice this isn't HS or college. Almost EVERY game is decided by 7 or less. Losing close games does not mean you're almost good enough to win but rather you do not have what it takes to make a play when you need to, nor do you have the ability to stop someone when you need to. No team is trying to run up the score to get voters to move them up the rankings. If a team knows it can win, then why waste all of it's best plays so the next opponent will know how to stop them.
If you can not see the difference between this team and last years team other than the record then I think you might never be happy with the NFL game. We will probably never in our lifetime see another team do what the pats did last year. And even if we did the chances of it being our team is only 1 out of 32. If you are looking for blow outs week after week you need to stick to college or HS. Sorry but that is just the way it is.

Of course we are. We lost 7 games last year by seven points or less. Regardless of the teams, we had a chance to win those games, but we didn't. This year we are winning those games, ugly or pretty, we're winning. Now, are we a "playoff team?" I don't think so, not yet at least. But we're getting there. We're definitely on our way to the promised land. A couple of good drafts & some smart FA signings & we'll be a top echlon team.

Like Steve Miller said, You gotta go through hell, before you get to Heaven!

Patience Dolfans. Happy days are on their way.

i can see what your saying. But lets keep in mind that this is the NFL and any given sunday either team can win. The ram's KILLED the cowboys and the Raiders BEAT the jets which is something we cant say......YET. This year is see how team wanting to win at all cost, last year we just gave up too easy.
