Kenyan drake and jakeem grant, perhaps our two best playmakers, were buried on the bench for two years, while Julius thomas and jay cutler, useless scrubs, remained starters all year. We could have gems all over our roster and gase would never know.

Since Coach Gase decides who stays on the roster, then he certainly knows what value they have. Many on this forum have complained about Drake and especially Grant. Bringing in FA's to try and cover some holes we have is based on who is available that is not on our team that is better than who we had on the roster. The only comparison that would make sense would be to compare those FA's to those on the roster to who were replaced to open a spot for them. This is not a complicated thing to understand. You may not like the results, and that's fine, but drawing such inane comparisons doesn't help make your case.

We don’t really know if carroo is good or not because he doesn’t play. In regards to drake & grant, is it possible that maybe they needed some time to develop? I saw drake play last year. He wasn’t what he is now. Sometimes guys need a year or two before everything clicks. Can’t blame Gase because they started to produce in year two. Hopefully when carroo gets an opportunity he will step up as well
