I was just wondering how many of us would accept poor performance on the field like last year, since the outcome would provide top draft picks for future?

Personally, I like the approach Saban and crew have been taking with the team; the "make haste slowly" viewpoint.

And seeing that this draft we seemed to do better than historical "Dolphin avg" with the draft picks caused by the losing (4-12) record and thereby securing the #2 overall pick, I am thinking as a potential best case scenario for the future of the ballclub how many of us would be willing to suffer through just one more losing season to have the top 3 selection again?

Or, would you accept this only if it was the #1 overall pick?

Or are you in the NEVER EVER EVER will I accept losing camp?

Perhaps others on the site take the viewpoint that anything other than playoffs and therefore the potenital for a SB victory each and every year is the only thing worth cheering for (the draft-picks be damned view).

I can appreciate this viewpoint, so the question is, how many of us are willing to accept a less than stellar win/loss record if the results provide the top draft pick spot for just one more season to improve the talent to help us in coming years?

P.S. I would have created a poll with the 3 options but just couldnt get it to work. Sorry.

losing is never acceptable

I definitely don't want number one overall cause I don't want us to draft Leinart. If our QB is awful this year, it wouldn't surprise me to see us draft a round one QB, but I don't wanna hand a QB who has never played a snap in the NFL more money than Tom Brady.

Just Win BABY!
