Arguably the worst offense in the league

That is not an offense in any way shape or form.
The 2019 offense (with a dismantled roster) toward the end of the season with O'Shea as OC and Fitz at QB behind an even worse (on paper) o-line looked like a playoff team compared to this year's offense with more weapons and a better (on paper) o-line! Personally, I think Flores should have kept O'Shea and Fitz, and drafted a different QB for the future. In that offense, Fitz was making Parker, Williams, and Gesicki look like Pro-Bowlers, even with a crappy o-line and not much of a running game. Also, Fitz wasn't stuck with just throwing short passes due to poor blocking; he made things happen.

IOW, it's not just a bad o-line holding the team back; they also have no competent OC, poor offensive schemes and playcalling, and no "take charge and make things happen" kind of QB.

We’re not going to stay the worst offense in the league, but we’re not good. And it’s on Flo.

We have a terrible and inexperienced offensive line coach, we have a weird two-OC system that’s obviously not working, and our play-calling is abysmal.

We also made the completely insane decision to build an OL full of 24 year olds to block for a 23-year old QB, then start a center who’s never played center in the NFL before and hadn’t played center since like his sophomore year of college. And for good measure, we cut his veteran back-up days before the season started. There is no vet on the line or at QB with any experience at calling out protections for a young, poorly coached offensive line. This is what that looks like.

Well there is one vet, but he isn't that good.

But yea, the line is super green and full of guys who were never thought of as plug and play day 1 linemen.
Jackson was a project LT who was taken higher than needed due to position he plays.
Hunt and Kindley were mid round picks with some positives and negatives.
Maybe only Eich was the prospect with the least questionmarks outside of his arm length.

Thought it might be interesting to look at each offensive starter before and after the rebuild, along with the offensive draft (only) capital we've expended in that time.

Not particularly pretty reading is it? A lot better off at WR. I won't get into a QB debate. But we really need to start seeing something more from the 8 top 4 round picks. Hopefully that starts this Sunday.

We are at #30 and probably #31 after GB plays tonight. New Orleans is behind us as well. That won’t last long.
Two threads with both no substance besides whining. Unnecessary.
