With Kurt Warner set to retire on Friday, what are the odds Arizona sells off pieces of their team for draft picks or just lets players go in free agency to accumulate money to pay picks and such? Arizona is a notoriously cheap team unwilling to pay most people. What are the odds Dansby leaves, Rolle leaves, and Anquan Boldin get sold off cheap?

dansby will be coming to miami i think its a pretty sure thing. Boldin would not come cheap at any rate even if they did decide to pawn off that team which is not very smart in my opinion. I think we can get dansby, miles austin, and tony scheflor when fasano decides to leave and with a good draft possibly mcclain? we have a damn good team

Dansby wants to come to Miami he almost did last year but got the franchise tag on him. we want him he wants to be here, makes sense dont it? miami is a pretty good place to come if your looking at it from a FA perspective. an up and coming team with good management in place and of course the south beach life doesnt hurt

If this happens, there are more teams than not, some with a lot of chips to throw into their pot, who'll want to play out the hand, including NE. So I wouldn't consider getting any player to be close to a sure thing.

Well Dansby has said he wants to be here and we have an opening at a position he plays. It makes some sense. I only asked about Boldin being cheap because he is soon to be 30, has an injury history, and is sort of an odd man out in Arizona, besides wanting to leave. They have 3 really good WR, they sort of don't need him. That would take some of their negotiating power away, I would think. Plus there is the precendent that Moss went to New England for like a 4th round pick.

true but Moss had done nothing in oakland before the trade, he admitted he took plays off and everyone knows he does that. the risk for NE was which Moss will show up and will he give his full effort. this season at least a part of the time he showed his old self and took some plays off. Boldin is a beast and a team player although he is a injury risk and getting older i can see where your coming from. if they are willing to trade him for a 2nd we would do it i beleive but last year they asked for a 1st and 3rd i think it was. thats too much

Dansby is one of the hottest UFAs. There are teams that will pay him more than us, unfortunately. With Boldin, it will also depend on the interest from other teams. If nobody wants him, just before the draft we could offer Ginn and a 4th, or by the end of the off-season, Ginn and a 2011 3rd.

Thats all well and good, and dont forget another HUGE advantage: no state income tax... but we have missed out on ALOT of targeted FA's this decade for one reason or another. Dont just assume Dansby or anyone else is coming here because its Miami.

It's all about the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

If Warner retires, there wont be a fire sale. They are not in rebuilding mode, and they will have more than enough cap room if Warner retires. I'd be suprised if they doing resign their core players.

Cap room may not be an issue. This could be an uncapped season. The fact is, Arizona knows Leinart isn't the man or he'd be the man right now. Their division is weak enough to where they can sell of some pieces, bolster themselves in certain areas, save money, and possibly still win their division. With Leinart they have no shot at a Super Bowl. Not possible. The notoriously cheapo Bidwills will be able to sell their fanbase on a team that is still getting to the playoffs, despite spending far less than most teams. They'll just say they are efficient.

This post seems pretty delisional to me. Sorry bro, what makes you think Dallas will let go of Miles Austin? He's their new star.
