We signed Armstrong but I havent seen anything about his deal. I assume we signed him for only 1 year at probably the vet min. Anyone have any info in this?

We picked up his contract from the Redskins which only had the 2012 season left on it at $540,000. He will be a restricted free agent after this season, so if the Dolphins want to keep him around in 2013, it will be pretty easy to do that.

One has proven production at a fairly high level, 974 yards, 5 TD's in 2010. The other has absolutely no NFL production, 19 yards, 0 TD's in 2011. Pretty poor comparison.

One year wonder, his 3rd season in the NFL.
Gates was going nowhere and at worst we have a stopgap deep threat who can actually run more than one route and catch the ball.
