imo, the dolphins defense is getting a little long in the tooth, Zach who's usually pretty durable is showing signs of wear. And it is largely due to the lack of talent around him the past few years at the lb spot. Channing was the influx of fresh blood that was obviously needed and the d wasn't the same when he wasn't in. we will have one of,if not the most dominant front four in the league with Big Vick and Wright being shuffled into the mix with Carter,JT, Traylor (hopefully),Holliday, and Adams??? (not to mention Roth!!)

Bottom line is, there ain't nothin' better than talented fresh legs. And the opportunity to aquire a young dominant pro bowl linebacker that can be the next centerpiece to build your defense around is a must at this stage. The ignorance of the Redskins could be r gain, because he really has a lot of gas left in the tank and he's got something to prove after the circus he just went through.

The best kind of pass defense is a pass rush, we all know that! And with Var in the mix with Capers Zone blitxing schemes, the franchise record for team sacks this season would be blown away by at least 20 minimum. When we shift to the 3-4 and LA comes up on the edge, with Mr. Taylor on the opposite edge it's goodnight folks! All the db's have to do is sit on wr's routes because the ball's coming out in a major hurry! And thats what the Phins D used to be about Pick-6 baby!!!! Time to revert to the old ways boyz!

We all love Zach and Jt but we need to start looking down the road for the next studs to build around.Crowder is one, but we need another "sure" bet, and I don't see any other pro bowl linebackers available like him, that just doesn't happen in today's game!!!

Spend the money Saban, it's not like we will regret it!!!

we dont need arrington. We have guys who can play the scheme just fine. Besides, we cant afford him, thats why we signed Hodge instead.
 
Wow Lavar Arrington is really not a smart LB and thats not Saban's style. Julian Peterson way better than he is and I would much rather have him and he is younger and has a much better work ethic than Lavar. Plus he has already played for Saban and said he wanted to come back. Thats also not to mention he is the BEST coverage LB in the Game IMO.

L.A. wants a double diget signing bonus.
 
He didn't sign with the Giants yet, they are still in nego. But he will sign there, he wants to stick it to the redskins, and the Giants have a bigger need at LB then we do.
 
Lavar is great, but wants WAY too much money.. Not that he isn't worth it, but we don't have the money to spend when we're trying to get a franchise QB at the same time.
 
Saban will probably draft another linebacker in the first couple of rounds to pair with Crowder and Thomas. I don't see Hodge as a starter. I see him more for depth like Spragan last year.

ding ding ding, we have a winner.......... saban doesnt even see this guy starting, he's got a million dollar incentive in his contract if he competes for the starting job, thats if he competes, doesnt sound to optimistic for me
