The New York Post reports the Dolphins, Jaguars and Packers have all expressed interest in LB LaVar Arrington. Reports last night indicated the field was narrowed to the Giants and Packers. Now the Giants have their own information and, depending on what their medical staff thinks of Arrington's knee, the Giants could surge back into the picture. They will not, though, come close to the seven-year, $54 million Arrington wants or approach the $15-$18 million he wants in guaranteed money. No team will pay Arrington what he wants. If he doesn't sign with someone prior to the draft, the list of interested teams will likely shrink. "Once teams start picking young players at that position . . . I would assume that's going to affect his market," Accorsi said.

So what college LB will become a Dolphin April 29th?

At this point I don't care anymore!! He's making a mockery of his supposed talent!! He acts like he's the only linebacker worth his weight in gold!! Let'm go to the Giants and see what happens there!! Who needs him!!

The Packers haven't even made an offer yet! The Dolphins and Jags are the only two teams that have actually made offers to Arrington. I would not take the Post's story at face value on this one.

good point that's what i thought something's not right.

get over it there is no reason to even want this guy anymore - there are at least 3 lbs we can take in the first round that will be better or at least be a better pickup considering age and injuries and money

ERNIE SIMS OR MANNY LAWSON in the first round
- in the third we can pickup a receiver like hagan or stovall or avant
- in the fourth we can pickup a secondary player SABAN STYLE and groom bc the draft's deepest position offered is seconday anyways

there are 3 ways i think we will do now in the draft...

1. draft holmes in the 1st, a olb in the 3rd and a safety in the 4th...

2. draft lawson or another olb in the 1st, a wr in the 3rd and safety in the 4th...

3. we trade down our #16 pick and get the best players available when we are on the clock...

This fiasco has gone on long enough. Arrington should fire his agents(The Postons make Rosenhaus look like a saint) and just get himself the best contract he can still squeeze out. Hes already lost the 4.4 million he had to use to pay out his contract and now hes sitting and waiting for those two jerks to get him a contract comparable to what Peterson got. Its time he realized that this isnt going to happen and that he has to make some moves before the draft. Im personally burnt out on it, and at this point could care less whether we get him or not.

dude we arent outta the running. clayton just said on the nfl draft show on espn, that the dolphins STILL have the BEST offer on the table. but he is still really lookin at the giants and the pack. But WE HAVE THE BEST OFFER SO FAR. doesnt sound like were outta it at all
