I dont know if this is old news or if it really matters but on the Bengals site, they have this.......

Carl Poston, one of the agents for Pro Bowl linebacker LaVar Arrington, said his client isn't scheduled to visit the Bengals as he previously thought.

"LaVar and I got our wires crossed," Poston said Thursday. "He has been making visits and been on the road a lot. I still think it's a visit that could happen at some point."

Poston said that Arrington is continuing a dialouge with Lewis that has been ongong since free agency and indicated that Arrington has talked about potential visits.

"Any time people are talking, that's good," Poston said.

Poston reiterated that Arrington is intrigued with the possibility of reuniting with Lewis. The sides have yet to talk in-depth about money for the best linebacker on the free-agent market, but with Arrington reportedly looking for Julian Peterson money the Bengals would no doubt tell them it's unlikely it would happen in Cincinnati with the Bengals talking to some of their offensive linemen about contract extensions.

Peterson’s deal in Seattle has been reported at $54 million over seven years with $18.5 million guaranteed, a number that would make them uncomfortable as they try to extend some of their own stars.
Plus, reports out of Miami say the Dolphins have heightened their interest in Arrington, the second pick in the 2000 NFL Draft.
