Arrington & Lawson

Even if we do get LaVar Arrington do you see Saban making a push for Manny Lawson, and putting him at DE. A lot of people have compared Manny Lawson to Jason Taylor, we could end up having Manny on one side and Jason on the other.

I'm not to sure if most coaches/scouts see Lawson as a OLB but he was a DE in college and wondering if he would be big enough to play DE in the NFL too.

Its possible, but I think we go with Santonio Holmes if we get LaVar

Lawson could be a pretty good pass rushing DE I think, but he's probally best suited as a 3-4 linebacker, im not sure if he can play the run from the DE position

The majority of players drafted at 16 would start out being a backup. The exception may be someone like Whitner.
