Brown to visit with Giants
April 7
Journal News (scroll down): "Unrestricted Patriots linebacker Chad Brown, a 13-year veteran, is scheduled to visit the Giants today."

that means if the giants sign him arrington wont signing with the giants. that leaves jacksonville, the bengals, and miami. thats good.

Even if the Giants don't sign LA...it doesn't mean Miami will. His $$$ has to come down and when it does...other teams will get back in the sweepstakes.

Visits are commonplace this time of year. Its just part of a teams due diligence.

Most teams have a Plan B .

He wants miami, if the giants dont come up to his price he'll re open negotiations with Miami in my opinion

they signed him guys, not arrington, chad brown

Good news for us, but it doesn't necessarily mean Arrington won't sign with NY. Brown could just be a depth signing; the G-Men were in TERRIBLE shape at LB last year, and Brown doesn't have a lot left in the tank. I'd be surprised if they signed him to start.

yeah that was their biggest problem hands down. i could see them still going for another lb

i still think it's going to come down to LA realizing that he's not going to get the money he wants. at which point, he will sign with the team he WANTS to play for instead of the team that will give him the most money. hopefully that is us.

They signed Chad Brown? I thought they had a visit scheduled today. Even if they did that doesn't take them out of the Lavar race. They need depth badly but hopefully that means that they will just draft a LB in the first round. Maybe Chad could be there to just teach.

Belichieck wouldn't pay him half the money he wants and he would want disciplined players.
