Well we lost out on Peterson, how about Arrington? What is the news about him possibly coming?Do we look at other FA's or draft a LB with the first pick?

Please offer him something that he'll bite on. I guarantee you, if he is allowed to visit San Diego, he is not leaving without a contract!!! I personally could care less for him, but please take him, take him..Nick, you listening, take him!

LaVar has said he want to play in Miami and raise his fam here. I think we could get him cheeper than most teams

Not happening, the only way we were going to get him was if we would have signed him right away to a sensible contract before Peterson signed, now that Peterson signed such a big contract. Arrington is going to want to match it +1.

As much as I hate to admit it, thats the absolute truth. He'd be stupid not to go for such a contract because the reality of it is he will probably get it. Not to say that he deserves it but if Peterson landed that much money after not really doing much in the last 2 years, Arrington will certainly expect the same if not more considering he's accomplished more in his career.

So are you saying we should draft a LB, pick up another FA, or go with Hodge or Spragan?

WOOW Tooo much Money for a Injury prone LB In Peterson

I agree, and you know why he got it all, Hutchinson went to the Vikings, so his money went to Peterson. Sucks because Lavar will see that and......well you know!

I don't think we have a chance to sign him since Julian broke the bank with Seattle, but I am still optimistic though.

Bingo. no way we can afford him after that Peterson contract.

We never had a chance to sign either Arrington or Peterson. I like that Saban is not signing these high priced guys, and instead getting guys that fit his system while we continue to build from the draft.

does anyone have an opinion on Bobby Carpenter from Ohio State. I have a feeling he could be this years Channing Crowder, because he was injured at the end of last year and was unable to work out at the combine.
