Article: "Can Joe Philbin Handle Hard Knocks?"

Philbin is a very shrewd and diplomatic guy. He thinks before he speaks, so if anything, he'll be quite boring for the sensationalist masses. I don't think he'll have any trouble with Hard Knocks at all.

The show is going to depict the Phins as a hard-working and tough team that quietly goes about its business. That mentality comes from Philbin on down. If anything, it's going to be terribly boring for the casual NFL fan, but of course, awesome for us. I really don't expect much drama and intrigue.

Does he not realize that, at least in past Hard Knocks, the front office has final say on what is actually shown? Meaning, they get to watch every episode before they are aired and tell HBO if they want anything taken out. I feel like this will eliminate "private" criticisms that they coaches don't want to be public.

why couldnt he handle it? the show is going to show everyone the kind of person he is. a true teacher of the game, and a man who believes in hard work. so what he is a first year head coach.

"What if Philbin rips a player in private and it's taken the wrong way on national television? What if the Dolphins talk about an opponent and subsequently provide bulletin-board material?" - From the article

Thees things didn't apply to every team that did "Hard Knocks" before us?

it just seems everyone wants to make excusses why this is a bad idea. people need to write articles of how this could be great for the team and the organization. funny thing is that all these media "experts" or whatever you want to call them will be watching the show just like we will

Coach P is one cool dude. He will win over the NFL. Just keep Ireland and Ross at a secure location.
The NY media crowd likes a circus atmosphere. The Fins will be about hard work and consistency.
That said..We need to get some of those knockout female Latina sports reporters on the sidelines.
That will add the requisite sizzle.

some people write some of the dumbest things.

if the guy can handel losing his son one week and staying strong enough to interview for his shot as a head coach in the NFL then he can handle a stupid azz show!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't get what's the big deal over Hard Knocks anyways. Does that make us closer to being Super Bowl contenders? If not, then who the **** gives a crap if they're around or not. I sure don't, heck I barely watch TV and I have HBO.

hes a good well spoken man.It will not be boring,it will be entertaining with the QB battle to the Up Tempo faster pace Offense and Joe Philbin is a good motivater players coach.
