Article-Chargers think they can tame the wildcat

Glad to hear they are ready for it.

Maybe we wont use it at all this week, or maybe we can run the wishbone or 5 receiver sets......

I really think Henning is going to change it up this week. He wants to keep opponents guessing.

I like the fact they have to spend so much time preparing for it and all the variations we could use, they have less time to game plan in other areas. This could be a huge plus. It would be nice if we come up with new wrinkles so defenses have this problem every week.

What do you expect them to say..."Gosh, hope they don't run that Wildcat thing...cause we ain't got an answer for it." Won't happen. Even if they have no clue how to stop it, they aren't going to let on. They are in the business of playing mind games just like the Dolphins.

I don't care what they say. If they're game planning for and talking about it...they are worried about it.

don't shoot the mesenger buddy. I am just providing a dolphins read for fellow dolphin fans.

Can the Dolphins get Frisky with the wildcat?

I hope we have something else that's up our sleeve to throw the Chargers off. It would be nice to hit them with a different surprise while they're still trying to figure out the old one.

I'd love it if we hit them in the mouth from the first play on and beat them with regular, old-fashioned football. With no wildcat. Now THAT would get the league talking.

This is going to be a rough week for me.....I have LT as my main fantasy football back and I have the Chargers defense. I would love to see LT get 150 yards and a couple TD's, but have the Phins win by a score of something like 17-14. I think it should be a good game.

yeah i posted this on the "other" dolphin website.

i think the coaches & author of that article are giving us our due and respecting the formation... seems the players are either ignorant to it, or are trying to marginalize it so they can help their own psyche in dealing with it for the game.

either way they sound like they're ****y enough. they typically start slow and end strong, so i hope we don't build a lead and then rest on our laurels... .they'll come back to bite you in the ***.

Personally I would love to see us open up with the wildcat on the first play of the game, and watch Ronnie take one to the house for 80+ yrds. Put the notion that they are prepared for it, to rest early on in the game. If they feel the need to come out and speak about it, then lets put them to the test. I would like to see if they can walk the walk. It would do my heart good to see the Phins play with that kind of agressive confidence that we have not had for so long.

The Wildcat is not an unstopabble formation. It is really nothing new. It just depends on our o-line getting great blocks and a push. Direct snaps are again REPEAT NOTHING NEW in the nfl.

The wildcat is unstoppable.......use it 6-8 times and during the 2 min drill and the chargers won't know what hit them. I wouldn't be surprised if they threw there version of the wildcat with LT and Sproles attacking our D. I hope our D is ready......
