Of Course it was the execution....... but timely playcalling was never Mularkeys forte.....
You could have also not tanked and still won. The play call had nothing to do with the defense quiting. The Bills still had a big lead and the Fins had the ball deep in their own territory. Pointing at that play is an excuse.
When you are up big is the time to go for the throat. If the TD pass in this year's game had been intercepted, it could have turned around a very close game. Instead it put the Bills up by two scores. A FG in that situation leaves the Fins in the game.
