The difference is the lead..... We were up big last year...we didn't need a TD.....

We could have kicked a FG there and would have won....we could have gotton shut down running the ball, and 3 minutes, off the clock and won....

we didn't need to be aggressive....

Of Course it was the execution....... but timely playcalling was never Mularkeys forte.....

You could have also not tanked and still won. The play call had nothing to do with the defense quiting. The Bills still had a big lead and the Fins had the ball deep in their own territory. Pointing at that play is an excuse.

When you are up big is the time to go for the throat. If the TD pass in this year's game had been intercepted, it could have turned around a very close game. Instead it put the Bills up by two scores. A FG in that situation leaves the Fins in the game.

So in your opinion, taking a 24 point lead into the 4th quarter is generally not safe? Do me a favor and list the last 24 point lead given up in the 4th quarter of a game. I have no problem having this discussion, but you have to at least start from some foundation of reality.

And it seems like you are skipping over something here. Mularkey's doing well? #3 offense in Pitt 5 years ago right?
