Parker was impressive in a 27-21 victory Thursday in Philadelphia, rushing for 106 yards on 19 carries and scoring on a 3-yard run. He leads the team in rushing in the preseason with 174 yards on 33 carries (5.2-yard average). That includes two 25-yard runs, one for a touchdown, in which he used his speed to get outside.

Parker has been timed at 4.3 in the 40-yard dash -- he says he can run 4.2 -- but he is powerfully built at 5 feet 10 and 209 pounds.

We have to remember that those #'s are squewed because of the fact that it's against 2nd and sometimes 3rd stringers. I wouldn't give up all that for someone simply because of those stats and his 40 time.

I agree, its better to have the extra 3rd rounder for next years draft especially if we are going to address the RB position in free agency ( e. James, S. Alexander etc)
