So Kyle Orton wouldn't excite you as the new Dolphins quarterback? Well, take a number. That thought is nothing new around him. That's the running storyline of his career.

But do you really think there are a lot of NFL quarterbacks who had a 2:1 ratio of touchdowns to interceptions over a two-year stretch and got run out of town for an unproven replacement?

When you look at the stats, he's a great pickup.
When you watch him fold in important situations, you realize why he was traded twice.

Orton doesn't exite anyone, anywhere, anytime, in anyway.

He is mediocre at best.

Get real!!

Orton doesnt win games, which is kind of important.

Young might be nuttier than a bag of squirrels, but he's cheap, he's temporary and he's a winner.

Also, Hyde asks Denver "what are you thinking?" John Elway-coached Denver. "you clearly know nothing about the QB position if you're offloading Kyle, John. You should think about upgrading your QB coaching staff.

Just because John Elway was a great QB doesn't make him a great talent evaluator.

This is Tim Tebow's team. Orton will be a Dolphin by the end of the week, likely by free agency after Denver cuts him.

Rumor on Denver radio now is that Tebow looked so bad, that Orton may stay in Denver as the starter. That Elway and Fox watching practice had to have serious second thoughts as to starting the season with Tebow.
Orton then was quoted when interviewed as saying he's 100% sure he will be the starter on Denver for the year.
Take it for what its worth.

One can only pray this is true.

Tim Tebow fades into oblivion and Kyle Orton stays away from a dolphins uniform.

If I am developing a QB and need a vet to play for a year or 2 then I'd love Orton, the problem here is Miami doesn't have that young QB to develop(let's not talk about UDFAs just yet).
