Hit todays paper! This article appears to be directly from Leo Roth a columnist in Rochester so we shouldn't see this in National papers. NOTE: Leo Roth is a huge Bill Homer but when the going gets tough he covers his butt with a nice piece on the competition.

LEO ROTH; Democrat And Chronicle Rochester Ny

(October 7, 2005)  ORCHARD PARK  In recent years, the NFL has been the place where successful college coaches have come to get humbled.

Steve Spurrier. Butch Davis. Dennis Erickson.

For them, the leap from Saturday to Sunday was just too much.

So why do the Miami Dolphins feel things will be different with Nick Saban, who has the Dolphins in the unlikeliest of positions heading into Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills at Ralph Wilson Stadium  first place in the AFC East?

Newark, New York Ouch!!. I grew up in Sodus Point. Now live in Charlotte NC.

Nice Charlotte in Rochester! Sodus Pt. still has some great fishing!

I've read so many articles extremely similar to this one; basically an introduction to Coach Nick. But I can't read enough on this guy, he's very impressive and I'm looking forward to his continued success. I'm tempted to read his book.

Nice article. To be fair, though, EVERYONE who writes for the Demagogue and Comical is a Bills homer. Sal Maironia (I'm sure that's spelled wrong) was the least homer-like Bills guy.

Canandaigua boy here. Still live in New York and will be at the game Sunday. This was a good read. One of my brothers friends started at fullback for Saban at MSU and said he was a great coach to play for. Said Saban looked at the small details, held everyone accountable, but truley cared for his players.

His book (How good do you want to be) is a good read, I'm sure you will enjoy it! The sub title is A champions tips on how to lead and succeed at work and in life.

Leo Roth is actually a pretty good reasonable reporter even if he favors the bills. He will tell it as he sees it and not sell the Bills in all shape and manner like some do.
