As A Hypothetical Question: A Bird In The Hand Or 2 + In The Bush?

your obsessed now............ suck for freeman? lets just let the season play out. You claim to root only for wins, but keeping ramblin on about next years draft, starting one thread after another. I'm still laughing about how you think the Pats,Jets,Bills are going to lay down vs. miami so we cant get the 1st pick. :lol2: You really are funny ! This too is completely unrealistic, as no team is dumb enough to give up their young franchise QB and an entire draft for a question mark? Thats not how you resurrect a franchise, silly.

tomorrow, it might be a good idea to ask your teacher what "hypothetical" and "diversionary" mean.

I'd take Freeman and the picks. A bird in the hand you know. The kids got heart and physical skills.
He's proven and we'll need the picks to rebuild this team.
If Lucks not ready to start day one or the line is still in shambles whats the plan?
Suck for linemen the next year. Sorry i'm not that patient.

Freeman is not elite right now and I'm not convinced he ever will be. He's a competitor and a good athlete but not a great passer. I'd take my chances with Luck - I think his ceiling is a lot higher

Just saying if I had the first pick i would listen to offers.

There's really no wrong answer here.. any heartfelt position, if expressed logically is the right answer for you. Sick of all the regurgitated lucksuckage threads saying the same thing, my intent in creating this was to provoke some thought, perceive the situation through several perspectives and maybe put a valuation on Luck.

In the wordy thread, I made it a point to use "hypothetical" and in the intro "diversion" as in "something maybe interesting and a respite from the samo-samo". I made it a point to say it was quite unlikely this would happen. Low and behold I'm watching the jerks on PTI tonight and an ESPN producer actually came up with the "Would you trade Cam Newton for Andrew Luck" discussion question. (they both would, I would not) so as an exercise and nothing more than that, the thrust of this thread wasn't so ridiculous, was it?

We are blessed with many insightful, well thought out posters on FH, but still, maybe part of the membership requirements should include a Wonderlic :idk:

That would never ever happen for either side.

Freeman, a 1st, and a 2nd and a 3rd would be really, really hard to turn down. He's already a top 10 QB in the NFL, and this team has a whole lot of holes. BUT... with our draft record? I don't do it. On pure value you do it IMMEDIATELY, but with Ireland? No thanks. I'd rather have Luck than Freeman, a decent DE, a bad CB, and a mediocre RB
