I said it yesterday and I will say it again if we pass or trade with Luck on the board the new regime is a Automatic Failure! If say the Rams or Vikings or any other team with a young first round QB is selecting and we don't move heaven and earth to get Luck the new regime is a failure! They only get a pass if Seattle or someone like that is picking first and the strike a predradt deal to seal the Luck.deal.
 
We get: 2012 1st, 2013 1st, 2012 2nd, 2013 3rd and then Freeman.

They get: 1st pick of 2012

This is something that will not happen. Why would they bother when they already have a proven player? I don't think they would risk it just to try to put some ***** in the seats.
 
you have to take that trade. Freeman is proven and has shown he has come back ability since he has done it 8 times in his career. Luck could be the next Ryan Leaf for all we know. Not only do we get a good YOUNG Franchise QB, but we still get a 1st rd pick to play with? I think we would be stupid NOT to take that.

This too is completely unrealistic, as no team is dumb enough to give up their young franchise QB and an entire draft for a question mark? Thats not how you resurrect a franchise, silly.

Im with hoops...if we end up with the #1 pick, there is no scenario that even has a slight chance of happening that makes me consider trading. If we get the #1 pick, I hope Ireland disconnects the facilities phone lines and chucks his cell phone just to remove the temptation.
