Boom or bust.

IMO, our draft plan went out the window when Tunsil fell to us. The players we had hoped for were gone and we might have wanted someone else. That forced us to move up in the 2nd round to take a corner after two more were taken after us in the 1st round.

I do not think we had a plan for Tunsil and I wish our offense good luck. If we had taken Derrick Henry in the 2nd I'd be happy.

IMO, Howard went before he almost before he should due to his size and being the 6th corner taken and since we did not take one in the first, we took him in the 2nd.

I would of said, OK, we just got a OLman...lets get a big power back. But I've given us trying to run the ball. 3rd and 1 yard will always be a passing down for us.
 
Again....

We now have a franchise left tackle and a Mike Linebacker....and a pair of big starting press corners out of this draft.

I have no way of knowing if they panicked in trading up...would Howard have made it to 42?...No way of knowing for sure.

I do know my biggest concerns coming into this season was corners...Mike Linebacker...and O-line....check-check-check.

Running back in the 3rd or 5th for sure.
 
Grier is a first time GM and he panicked. We could of staid pat and got Howard and still have our fourth round pick. Makes me so angry.

We got a stud tackle, reached on a corner with a bunch of good players on the board and we lost a pick for it! If we lost our fourth rounder for jack I get it. But for this guy? Jamar Taylor 2.0

That's a reach. Both players are unknown at this point. Yes I still have faith in Taylor.

Ya there's a lot of that going on. But on this one, the Dolphins did give up a lot to get their guy. I think it's more than fair to go after the Phins on the value of the trade. I also think the Dolphins could give a ****. lol
