@mikefreemanNFL: Some of the things personnel men around the NFL are saying about the Dolphins is hilarious. Lots of jokes, disbelief.

Never seen a team be officially called out as a "joke" like this before. Congratulations Mr. Ross!

aside from him writing for Bleacher Report why should I care about his opinion?

Look some are gonna like the hire, some are going to hate it. Just move on./

Ross is deliberately setting the bar low, so that we as fans don't get our expectations too high. We were 8-8? WOW! Break out the Champaign, that's like winning the Superbowl!! ;-)

So what! Who cares what they think! We get rid of Ireland and this seems to be turning into the worst day in Dolphin history, according to many on this site.. I've had enough already.. We weren't a bad team last year. We beat some great teams and lost some really close games. We got a hopefully improved OC , so we should be much better next year. I live in NewEngland and I have a buddy that's a huge Denver fan, another that's a Steeler fan, and NONE of them are calling me laughing at me, so I'm pretty sure its not nearly as bad as some idiots are saying it is..

I remember my early months in Las Vegas, when I bet sports based on subjectivity and not heavily researched systems. I'd run around town all day and make dozens of bets before splattering into a sportsbook seat to await the returns. Invariably I'd look at my list of wagers and wonder how in the heck did I end up with this dance card? It looked so random and scattergun, like it could never be repeated if I started the day over again.

That's how I view this Dolphin general manager search, and the offensive coordinator search. It's like they got in a roller coaster and decided to jump off at a given point, for no apparent reason. Then they pick themselves up, brush themselves off, and try to present themselves to the world like it was all a part of the master plan.

Freeman???? Was that the cat who played QB in Tampa? Never heard of him.

this board will be calling for hickeys head if he drafts an ol in the first round

Quite the opposite. The Fins will tag Grimes, make moves on the line, sign a few useful FA's and have some draft picks that posters like and people will love Hickey, Joe and this FO.

Miami is the master of convincing offseasons.

Skape...all this negativity that you enthrall yourself into is going to kill you lmao. I've never seen a poster create so many negative threads in the same day throughout my 2 years on the site. Breathe buddy, and let it all play out. :d-day:

Its not an if its a when. We need lineman and we are to far down in the draft to get any of the playmakers. Guess what we are sorta starting all over again except we cant even do that right. When we suck next year and Hickey wants to fire Philbin we will be back in the same boat doing things half assed.

Actually a lot of people on this board want us to draft Zach Martin is he is available at #19. I also would be happy if we landed a good tackle prospect.

OL is a trainwreck and unfortunately we're going to have to invest heavily in both FA and draft.

This organization is officially the biggest joke in the NFL damn that is an accomplishment I guess.

The personnel men are probably Jeff Ireland and Mike Tannenbaum.
