I think Sammy Morris has the best field vision and patience as a RB. If he had more natural talent, he'd be a top back IMO. I really like the way he runs and I hope he gets more chances to play while Ricky is out. I hope Ronnie learns something from both Sammy and Ricky

Remember a couple of things...Morris came in the game when the Denver D was not only exhausted, but disgusted as well. Nothing they did turned out right. They also were playing without their starting CBs...so he does seem to have better field vision, particularly yesterday.

Brown has a lot to learn and missing time in camp hurt him. He needs to remember this isn't Kansas (Auburn) anymore. He can't out run guys like he could in college...He was a little tenative to hit the holes (kinda like Gordon was this preseason)...seemed to dance a bit before hitting the line...but in his defense, he really had no holes to run into...the OL was mediocre at best yesterday. He'll learn and he was tired at the end of the game...His inexperience showed yesterday, but he'll get better...Morris played ok, but as you said, he lacks some of the natural physical talent that Ricky and Brown have....It's still good to have him around tho...

I'm glad that Saban is happy w/ Brown's performance on Sunday because I had mixed reviews (I would believe his assessment over mine). Too many times he tried to make the big play when it wasn't there and it cost him. I didn't like him trying to pull a Marcus Allen on so many of those runs. On the other hand, there were some really good runs that he had and that one crucial catch.
