Im not going to lie. I was hoping for Brees. But I am VERY glad that this priority is finally taken care of, and, in all honesty, I do trust Saban and have no qualms with Culpepper being our guy (hell, he's a freaking Pro Bowler). I'm also pretty happy with the $$$ we'll be saving this year vs what we would have paid for Brees.
Regardless of how everyone feels about this move now, just keep in mind that the reason we're all here is because of our passion for the Dolphins. I highly doubt anyone is really going to stop supporting their team because they picked up one player they didnt like, regardless of what might have been posted in the heat of passionate debate.
So, for those of you who supported this move from the beginning (once again, I will admit that Im not one of you), I certainly hope we can keep the "I told you so's" to a minimum, and for those of you who were vehemently opposed to this move, let's not do anything stupid like root for Daunte to fail as a Dolphin just so you can say you were right. My hopes for the 2006 season are just as high as they were 24 hours ago, and that isnt going to change until and only if we are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs (in which case, my high hopes will be reserved for 2007).

That being said, let's welcome our new franchise quarterback, DAUNTE CULPEPPER, and show him WHY we are the best fans in the NFL.

THE AFC EAST WILL FEAR DAUNTE'S INFERNO!!!
