at the scrimmage!!!!

This argument again? Since these are scrimmages I'm on board with the "What's there to do in Wisconsin vs. Florida?" talk.

The argument keeps coming up because it continues to be a problem. The "what else is there to do" is a very weak and overused excuse. 70,000 in Green Bay, Chicago had over 20,000 and Miami manages 1,400. Are you proud?

Also want to say thank you for all the updates, I greatly appreciate it.
Np man. I dunno to me it seemed like a lot. I didn't expect the stadium to b sold out or anything. Not comparing to other teams but I've been going to the training camps and the year after the 11-5 camp was packed. After last seasons record it was more fans than I expected. I think mando may be exaggerating. Supposedly the first one thousand fans get pre-season tickets. I guess everyone gets pre-season tickets?

In regards to the regular season where games mean something I'd agree. A scrimmage early Saturday AM though? I don't even know if I'd go to that if I lived down there. It doesn't mean I'm not a fan but it wouldn't be as important for me as a Dolphins fan to see.

I'd still be sleeping by the time they finished the damn thing anyway

I don't have anything to do with the locals there so it makes no difference to me

Most of Miami doesn't go to bed until 5:00 am

Everyone still in bed. Green Bay had family night last night with firework show etc. Im sure more people would show up for a friday night scrimmage than a sat am scrimmage

Every team in Miami goes through the same problem. It's a tough draw when you're not playing well.

I like Philbin a lot. He seems to care a lot about the fans. He got on the microphone at the end and told everyone thanks for coming out anda that the players need the fans. And that they're working hard to bring the glory back to Miami.

Ochocinco didn't do much

yeah NUbs, it's not really a good comparison between Miami and Green Bay.

1.Green Bay has been doing Friday Night scrimmages for families and investors for quite a few years. It's gonna be a huge draw.

2.They do there's at night and it's a big deal.

If Miami makes the scrimmage a constant thing and a family function like the Packers, it'll start to draw

Thanks for all the updates..............

Official attendance was reported at 8400 or something... not to mention with the threat of poor weather and them moving it up an hour... Plus it's kinda early in the morning, like others have said, a friday night thing Im sure would draw much more attention.
