Now that JT signed I wonder if NE would be more likely to get rid of AThomas now. I'm sure BB will try and stick it to him and wait until the last second to get rid of him. I don't see how he could possibly stay there. I think he has the size BP would like but he seemed too slow to me. Reminded me of Roth. You have to figure we are doubling up at OLB in this draft. Not sure who but it's almost a given that we take 2 at OLB this year.

I believe Adalius has been the target all along for Miami. He is 3 years younger than JT and fits the SOLB position better. It would be great to sign him to play on 1st and second downs and then use someone like Travis Laboy or a pass rushing specialist acquired in the draft on 3rd down.

Others to keep an eye on are Greg Ellis, Shaun Ellis (expected to get cut), Clif Avril (young pass rusher on the trade block), and of course pro bowler Osi Umenyiora.

Plenty of options out there!

Laboy just signed with the niners, per Adam Schefter Twitter:

"Nice little pickup for San Francisco: DE Travis LaBoy agreed to a one-year, $1.6 million deal with the 49ers."
