Everything I have seen since last season ended.
"Missed the playoffs"
Interviews with 54,99,81,84,34.
Some of these guys think the fins are in the playoffs when the season starts.
Maybe missing the playoffs will give these guys the attitude it takes to go to someones house and kick theire butt in front of theire wife and kids.
I think Bowens has been on the team the longest,how many times has he missed the playoffs?

this all comes from the fast start...by the time we are 5-1 we are labelled a shoe-in for the AFC for the SB and then Dec. starts :cry:

i hate to think that the team gets high on its own press clippings, but sometimes it seems to be the case. i'd like to see the team doing well early, and the media lukewarm on them. last year had barely started and they were comparing them to the super bowl cowboys and all that. it's probably just superstition, but it gets me. i like the thought, welderpat, that missing the playoffs will provide an extra spark. it can't hurt to have a little extra motivation, as long as they can avoid any extra doubts. i'm thinking they need group hypnosis or something.
