Interesting..........Is that why the game was so close??? Sneaky Spurrier

A laptop containing Auburn’s offensive game plan was stolen out of the team hotel by “a drifter,†not as a conspiracy to help South Carolina out, coach Tommy Tuberville said Sunday.

The laptop was lifted from the offensive meeting room while players and coaches stood around following dinner on the eve of the Tigers’ 24-17 victory Thursday night in Columbia, S.C. The thief was caught on video nabbing the expensive computer, which Tuberville valued at $15,000.

“We saw who did it, and it takes a lot of nerve to walk in there with 300-pounders standing around it and pick it up and put it in your pants and walk out the door,†Tuberville said.

An unscrupulous Game****s fan looking to give his team an edge? Nah, just a guy looking to make a few bucks, the coach said.

LOL, i read that earlier too! But i doubt it had any outcome to the game. But wouldnt it be funny if it was a South Carolina fan who stole it.

Guess it all depends what was in it and how valuable they think it was. Could have been MUCH more valuable had they lost and the amount of money they would have lost by missing out on the SEC Championship and/or a BCS Bowl.

yeah a Laptop's value is what is in it.... But you can't quote that as its monetary value. For example, I love my car. It has loads of sentimental value and I wouldn't trade it for less than $50K (just an example), however if it gets stolen what do you think the insurance company would pay me for a 1990 Acura Integra?
