Have you seen anyone unlucky enough to become one of the 58%?

you make it sound like you're proud of that.

i live in elmira... and have been to the ROC many times and it doesnt seem that bad

Roc isnt that bad. Been to some concerts there. I live in the CUSE and it seems comprable to rochester.

I used to live in Rochester. Wasnt too bad of a place. When I lived there, there seemed to be as many Dolphins fans as there were Bills fans.

How the heck did all of you guys grow up (presumably) in Western NY and end up Fin fans? Was there something in the water there?

Reminds me of that add on the NFL Network a couple of years ago that was set in Buffalo in the middle of winter with a somewhat dim bulb looking smiley guy decked out in Orange and Teal Fins gear going about his business and cheerily greeting his Bills be-decked neighbors while people angrily honk at him, the neighborhood kids pelt him with snowballs and a dog in a Bills sweater even growls at him. Classic commercial.

I grew up in East Rochester myself and have an old HS buddy who's a Fin fan--worse still is his brother who likes the Jets. Amazing.

All that being said, good luck next year, as you guys seem to be on the rise, while I'm not too sure which direction we're headed in at the moment....

At least you're not stuck in the ridiculous illusion that Dick Jauron is the second coming of Mark Levy. :shakeno:

...

Actually at 9, I just wanted to pick a team that was not Buffalo, what my dad liked, and chose Miami, then Marino came 2 years later and I was hooked. Now I just love the Fins and nothing (not even that 4-12 season) is gonna change that.
