Awesome Pennigton interview....link

First time watching that, good find. It's too bad he got hurt soon after that interview.
 
...as classy as they come. I miss his incredible new conferences and just the persona he puts forth...
 
Consensus: Chad Pennington is someone to have all our kids admire. As much as I love Dan Marino and everything he did as a Dolphin, I have far MORE respect for Pennington as a person. If we let him get away, then I wish him the best. But, that'll be a HUGE loss in leadership/influence/over-achieving. Being a selfish fan, I want him to stay as a coach or something, just to have that leadership role model for players to mimic.

As a player, as someone who aspires to coach, as an overall football fan, Penny is someone who I'd like to have around me. Whether its as a teammate, one of my players or just someone to talk football with.

One day, years down the road, we will hear the name Pennington again, not because he became an analyst or something stupid like that but because he has done something great with his life.

He will be successful in anything he chooses because he is passionate and has, like he said in the interview, found that football is what he does, not who he is. He will be able to translate the work he puts into football into something great, mark my words.

Mr. President Pennington?
