Give him a break! Dude's not as old as some of ya posting! 30 isn't too old to think he could keep his steps!
 
Ya i dont know whats with all the hate, the guy has a definate chance to make the roster. Very good backup returner as well as a situational guy on offence.

Not hating on the guy...He just hasn't shown anything in the past few years and we have some young guys with some major upside on our team right know!!!:evil:
 
i never realized until this article how mature he was and after reading this i see why he was brought in. I saw the plan after the draft, but this makes me see that there was a plan before the draft. Anyone who bad mouths Hakim after reading this article can go back to whatever board they came from because they (you) were never a true Dolphins fan. Hakim and ginn, green and beck, I LOVE CAM AFTER THIS READ, you now have my 100,000% support. GO DOLPHINS.

Yeah, hard not to root for the guy. He sounds like the kind of veteran we needed, at least for training camp. Perhaps he makes the team, perhaps not, but having a player of his calibre and experience around the young guys in training camp must be a positive all around. He knows he has to do all the things to make a player good just to make our team, and he seems to have the desire to do just that. The younger guys can watch and learn and in turn will do all the things a player must do to be get better and be successfull in the NFL.
 
Why is everyone ripping the guy??

Ginn Jr soooo reminds me of a young Hakim...
 
Hakim would have been a good addition to this team, but we are already loaded at WR and have our veteran in Marty Booker, #1 in Chris Chambers, possession WR in Hagan . . . and rookie speedster w/ Ginn. Just not enought room for him.
 
Doesn't have a shot to make the team? I'd be willing to bet a few Phin Dollars that if it comes down to Hakim or Campbell that Hakim gets the nod. I don't know what the issue is bringing him in? He's a savvy vet. Little things like teaching Ginn to get down or get out of bounds are things that will really help his longevity. What does Kelly Campbell know about that? It's a nice little battle between Sutton, Campbell, and Hakim. Should be fun to watch come late July and August.
