If receiver Az-Zahir Hakim signs with the Cardinals, it's not likely to happen until after the NFL draft April 29-30, his agent said Tuesday.

"It's very early in the game for Az, with a number of teams wanting to talk to him after the draft," Hakim's agent, Chuck Price, said.

The Cardinals and Price remain apart on compensation, and Price said he will talk to several other teams, including the Lions, Bears, Rams, Jets, Raiders and Dolphins.

I would have to agree that if WR is what you want then Holmes is the man.Saw him catch and damn that boy can grab that rock!Hope we can solve our other issues before and after the draft.Would like to see him and Chambers on the field together with Booker at #3.Damn that would be sweet.

Az-Zahir sucks, but I don't agree with all of you who want a WR drafted in the first round. That isn't really our most glaring need right now and DBs/linemen are always at a premium.
