haven't posted here in a while just wanted to give my quick take on our team so far this year.

I'll keep the first part short and simple, IF CHAD HENNE PLAYS LIKE HE HAS THE LAST 2 PRESEASON GAMES, THIS TEAM WILL MAKE THE PLAYOFFS. GUARANTEED.

also that 60yd run by b.marsh the other night was absolutely insane. I have never seen someone stiff arm a linebacker that easily (except maybe brandon marshall when he was in denver). he put his *** to the floor with one arm like it was a 190 pound corner running up to him. He also broke the safety's ankles when he cut inside from the sideline... amazing amazing player and amazing run.

I am a bit disappointed in d.thomas so far but I think he has plenty of room for improvement, he hasn't been playing RB very long at all. bush is good but I'm scared he's gonna get hurt every time he touches it. ronnie was injury prone too though so I guess we're used to it...


Also can someone who has analyzed the game please tell me how Pouncey did this game? I know vs the panthers he got a beat a couple times early but most of the game was pushing around his man like he was on skates... did he perform well this game? I haven't got a chance to analyze it

pouncey did piss poor. his run blocking was average at best and his goal line blocking was atrocious

No, that guy is just exaggerating, his performance was fine.

Some people can't differentiate between one player playing poorly and others playing poorly making the entire line look bad.
 
You must have Colombo and pouncey or turnstyle Vernon Carey confused. Sure pouncey struggled on the goal line but so did the people next to him. Hard to tell who is to blame. I don't know the goal line run block schemes and I'm confident nobody on this site does either.

uh, no.

I will say this. The entire O did not look good truth be told. The fact is that Tampa was up mentally and we were down. Its remeniscent to me from atlanta game. Pouncey did fairly well considering. No bad snaps that I could tell and he pelted a big DL on the blindside but beautiful front side block that was totally legal and just floored the guy! I dont care what anyone says, when you do this sort of thing, you are good. Pouncey gets a pass to me cus I just think the whole Oline and penalties were ugly.

He's still in love with Pat White so it's to be expected. I'm guessing he thinks the pick that bounced of Fasano's chest was all Henne's fault. Some people just have an agenda.

Since Brady has played this pre season(did not play the first game so we will not count that), Chad has had a better td/int ratio. This board is just full of idiot pessimists
