He asked Brees something and Drew answered July. I wonder what he asked. Aside from that, if Manning is healthy and released, he will be Manning our team (pun intended)

unfortunately, it will be real hard to get an elite qb this year because we are not getting luck, and manning as of now seems like he wont be healthy according to many reports, but hopefully he will. id love manning.

if those 2 options are off the table, then we will not have an elite qb next year sadly.

Then we start counting down the days until Marshall starts demanding a trade. He threw Moore and Henne under the bus today and pretty much let it be known that he is not happy with the QB situation in Miami.

i dont think anyone is happy with the QB situation in miami right now

He has also reached out to Flynn to come to Miami. With the Philbin connection, Flynn to Miami is realistic and that will please Marshall.

well, i dont know.

unfortunately, this is not baseball, or basketball, or hockey. franchise qbs hitting the market are so rare.
the only one recently to hit the market was brees, and lets be honest, as much as everyone wanted him, he was not even close to this good when he hit the market, because if he was, he never would have hit the market as a free agent.

our only realistic hope at an elite qb is signing manning if healthy. otherwise, as much as it sucks, i dont know where we will find an ''elite'' qb.

We need a qb period...... I'd be happy with a solid qb who can win us games with his arm and someone who does not turn the ball over 2-3 times a game. If we had that we would of won at least 10 games this past year. Not to knock on Matt Moore. The kid played his heart out for a team in disarray....

Marshall could lie and say Matt Moore is elite and be the good teammate but he knows he's not, we know he's not, the rest of the league knows he's not, and Matt Moore knows he's not.
People overrate off the field comments and behavior so much. Its why guys with little talent like Tebow are lauded and pro bowlers like Marshall are suggested as trade bait. Give me the guy who can play!!

Sad thing is many people here say he is a great QB and that he should start next year.

If Moore is how things are going we may as well resign Henne. I don't think anyone puts either one, nor Flynn for that matter, in elite QB territory. You can't just go out and sign one, teams will put franchise tags on. Look how difficult it is to acquire an elite QB, who is going to let one just walk unless something is up? Manning is a perfect example, and Brees before NO. Injuries are big question marks, and both teams thought they had answers (Rivers and Luck).

You either need to draft one or luck into having a decent FA turn into one.

Marshall catches those 6 TD's here, instead of dropping them, and our QB look a lot better... just sayin'. Yes we need to get better at the position.
