Rambo did a amazing job yesterday i remember he basically saved a TD that Gurley almost broke when we punted them inside the rams own 3 yard line.

I saw him being everywhere on the field I think he did great & this type of contribution wasn't expected from him being off the streets & he has helped Michael Thomas play his special teams & nickel corner role & some minimal reps at safety.

he also covered Gates fairly well last week.

Yea, I loved him in college, I'm glad he's panning out...maybe he stays next year and we have a couple bad ass Georgia bulldogs patrolling the field.

He's a Georgia safety just like Jones. No surprise to me at all, he has always been a solid player.

Him continuing to develop and possibly become a starting FS is best case scenario. It's needed and we can worry about other defensive positions come draft time.

Loved him coming out of UGA. Had no hope after watching him in BUF and WASH. Confidence was a huge issue for him after those last 2 stops ... rooting for him hard.

Would be amazing. Jones at over 10 million a year isn't a great contract and will be on the wrong side of 30 while IAQ is ours for cheap the next 4 seasons.

That's my Dawg! Hopefully we retain him next year and have a little Jones-Rambo combo going on back there.

So basically, Cut Jones and let New England sign him?

Not saying that. Jones has a fair contract next year also . . . No rush to make him the highest paid safety in the NFL coming off injury.

Rambo can serve as safety depth and in a year maybe he can step in and take over for Reshad and we dont have to drop 11 or 12 million a year. No guarantee, but like BobDole was saying, possibly develop and turn into a starting FS.

We are 5-0 without Jones, hard to consider him mission critical this offseason, especially when he is under contract.

Jones and IAQ are both SS's and trying to utilize either of them at FS was not working. Jones' absence has forced us to play IAQ at Strong and play Rambo at Free which has worked out for the better as Rambo has the range to put a lid on the top.

Overall, Jones is the better SS and pairing him with Rambo would only make us better. IAQ has been a great SS addition but he's not a better player than Jones, who is a top safety at his position. Also consider Jones has been a top flight talent playing quite a while with that injury as well.

You better extend Jones sometime next season otherwise if he hits free agency that would be th last time you see him
the same goes for Jarvis Landry...Imagine Landry in the slot for New England

Jones will be 30 when he hits FA and with the contract he wants, Miami could franchise him for less.

Landry you certainly want to extend this offseason if possible.

New England ain't breaking the bank for any SS. They wont even pay their stud LBs money.

Question is, is he better at 12 million a year vs.. IAQ at 4 . . . .and keep in mind we are 5-0 without him right now.
