Hey All,

Just thought i'd share some of my experience from last night's game...Drove 4 hours up to to charlotte from Eastern North Carolina and was excited since i've got a friend of a friend who has season tickets to the Panthers so i was on the Dolphins sideline in the first row. Most of you know about the game itself so i'll just share a couple of cool things....

Near the end of the 4th quarter i was sitting there and some guy came and sat down next to me who looked familiar. I looked at him and he was motioning to one of the trainers on the field. I immediately said, "hey...are you Shawn Wooden?"...he said yes and i didn't say much. He got someone on the sideline to give him a hat (i was unsuccessful) and he had Zach sign it for him, presumably for Shawn's friend or something. The funny thing was Zach turned around and gave me a thumbs up since i had my dolphins shirt on. Was pretty awesome. Even better, someone i was with said, "hey, isn't that Dan Marino"....sure enough, he was on the sideline. Wooden yelled to some guy who went over to Dan. He turned around and the few dolphins fans around me went nuts of course. He waved and smiled. He looks really thin and seemed really cool. Just a great night. Seeing the team that close up was really mind-blowing....Saban was screaming so loud at Armstrong after the return and the almost-return i could hear him. A lot of f-bombs...anyone else go last night?

My brother and I went to the game. We were by the dolphins tunnel before the game started and my brother got Derek Hagans autograph on his hat and as he was giving him back the hat...he those his gloves up to him also.

sheesh marino was there, i couldnt see him from the nose bleed. and the guy i was sitting beside wasnt shawn wooden who i always respected as a safety but a fin fan from miami. thats great to see support people driving 800 miles to see a preseason game. he was drunk and obnoxious but hey he drove 800 miles just to see a preseason game. fin fans are the best

Wonder if coach Anderson gets the axe after this season.

thanks for sharing, good stuff.

I was in section 107. Great game. All we needed was a running back, some special team tackles and a few TD's and it would've been splendid. I never thought I would see the day when I would actually say I miss Ricky Williams.... I hate the fact that he's such a loser, but at least he was a talented RB. We're in trouble at RB.
