Back on the Fireland train

If Ireland is not upgraded next season , the stadium will be empty. Even the homers are getting tired of the same bs.....

A good chunk of this performance is on FAILbin.

I wonder what his note cards will say today.

The offensive gameplan was pretty sorry to combat a fierce pass rush, I'll give you that, but there is still no excuse for this sorry OL. And this running game is an absolute joke.

Phillip Wheeler. Another in a long line of horrible FA signings. Stupid penalties at the end of the Tampa game and this game and both on 3d downs. What a pathetic signing that was.

I was up for giving Ireland a reprieve in recent weeks, even if they missed the playoffs, but this performance changes things.

The state of the OL reared it's ugly head to tank our season and possible injure the franchise QB. Along with the horrid running game, this is unacceptable.

I am down for canning Ireland and giving Gaine a one year tryout before getting a new regime in here

Agreed. It took me a long time to get on the fireland train, but now that I am on it, I am not getting off because that train has already left the station. Ross and his dolphin talking heads can sugar coat things all they want, but dolfans know the truth. The house of cards has just collapsed and the illusion of a so-called playoff team exposed.

As for Gaines, with respect, I am not sure he can evaluate OL talent either. Time to start fresh with a GM and supporting cast who can ID successful O-linemen and D-linemen.

Guys, Jeff Ireland's record needs to judged against other GM's. EVERY GM loses to Thad Lewis twice. Its simply not fair to hold this against Ireland. Hold up Ireland's history against every other GM and it will paint the picture for you. Just ignore his second round pick history, that doesnt count.

Wheeler, Ellerbe, Misi. These are the LBs we locked up to big money contracts?

Traded up for Daniel Thomas.

OL that can't block anybody.

Yep.

Never got off of it...what would this team have been with an OL. Thanks Ireland!

Well the O-line was suspect before the season even started but the bigger disappointment is this D-line that was supposed to be so dominating and it's not.

I can't think of a single player on the team who played well today, to be honest. Maybe Mike Wallace? Brandon Fields?

Worst performance I have ever seen from the OL and backs in pass protection. Even when Tannehill was getting rid of the ball, he was getting hammered. Unbelievable.

Hartline had a sure fire Td right thru his hands.

The offensive line is horrid.

Wallace played hard considering circumstances.

Moore blows.

Hey whats up fellas? So where do I sit? I'm new here. Is there a spot for newbies in the back maybe? Also, there is drinks on this train right? Yeah I'll take a bottle of whiskey.

Those werent on Ireland, the fans caused those. If only our fans would go to games, then our line would be amazing!

Our fans just HATE this team for reasons that are utterly baffling! Theres NO EXPLANATION as to why they hate this franchise.

Listen, we all know that the fans are the reason why Ireland's players dont work out, we should just be thankful that Ireland got those players in the first place. Other GM's have fans that attend games and their picks are successful, Ireland has fans that HATE this franchise so his picks never work out. Simple math people.

Thank you sir! May I have another?

Yeah but we're gonna have $60 mill in free agency money next year. HE's A FRICKEN GENIUS!!!

No worries. Randy Starks is in a contract year. Ireland is sure to reward his play today. He did dress out and step on the field, didn't he? So I am sure he's gonna get the big bucks.
