This is the first time in my life of 42 years that this team will have back to back losing seasons, that is very hard to take, but the talent level is not great except for a few guys and saban is getting as much as he can out of them, they play hard right to the end, so there is nothing to do know but hope that some more guys develop the rest of the year. Just going to suck not having anything to play for late in the year again.

You have to break eggs to make an omelet. This is going to be one of those famous Russian 5 year plans.

are you sure we are going to have a losing season? We could still go 5-2. Don't throw in the towel yet.

of our remaining 7 games.......5 are against teams of lesser/equal talent: Browns, Raiders, Bills, Jets and Titans. At SD and NE will be very tough.

If we eliminate just some of the mistakes that plagued us yesterday....we can finish out 5-2 and get to 8-8.

I don't want back-to-back losing seasons......so this is what I'm clinging to.

This team wasn't broken in a day, and it won't be fixed in a day. A good quarterback would improve the squad dramatically though. We are in almost every game this year, although we're losing the close ones. Hopefully next season with another draft and some good free agent additions we will win the close ones. I figure we will have a poor record this year, a good draft position, threaten or make the playoffs next year, and make a push the next years.

I think Saban is laying the foundation for a perpetual competitive team, but it will take some time to churn the roster and establish the right mindset. I think we've already made significant strides and found some keepers, with Ronnie Brown at the top of the list. I'm confident we are on our way toward being one of the leading franchises in the league. We're just not there yet.

Coming into the season my HEART told me "We're going 10-6, Wild Card and doing some damage in the playoffs".

My HEAD told me "9 new starters, a totally revamped offensive and defensive scheme, very questionable Q.B. a secondary that could be scary bad and a tough schedule means we'll be lucky to win 6 games".

I think the "quick turnaround" of teams like the Rams in '99 and the Chargers last year have increased exceptations for teams to improve overnight.

Saban has on the right track. He is laying a foundation for success in the FUTURE. It took Wanny 4 years to destroy this franchise...Saban needs more then one year to fix it.

Yeah, we have another turd of a season left to play out. It is too bad. Miami started out great this season, and then stalled out BIG TIME. They can only beat the turds that smell worse than them this year. But like some have said, this is the first year under Saban. We can expect much better results next season.
