McCain was only in for 12 snaps vs GB. He had 0 run plays, 6 in cover but, was not targeted, and 6 rushing the QB with 2 hurries. OV and Wake were great, played a lot of snaps, and easy to understand in a game like this.

Now Shelby is back and has earned playing time. Jordan will be back next week but has not even practiced for 7 weeks, and no clue as to what we can expect. Not a VG situation for McCain to be in. I'm thinking he is going to have to settle for 10-15 snaps or a while.

What makes you think Jordan will even play?

Dion Jordan sucks, McCain is a better player. Jordan won't get any snaps in front of McCain.

As I said, I have no clue what to expect from Jordan. I'm not yet writing him off but, at this point, nothing good, bad, or indifferent will surprise me.

I expect Jordan to play special teams no lie... Dudes not gonna be game ready, maybe let him in late when an opposing teams OL is gassed

I'm guessing it takes him a couple of weeks or so to be game ready.

Sobe you may remember I was all for Jordan last year on another board so this is my very honest opinion. Jordan looked like he had no serious plan to stay in shape the week before he went on suspension. Sounded pretty clueless and lost so we should be very very surprised if he does a single thing when he gets back. McCain is way ahead of Jordan unless he had some sort of a revelation early in his suspension and grew up. I would not bet on it though.

So far DN Jordan is a complete disaster, and likely would have been gone if not for the cap hit. Everyone thinks that and are right in doing so. However, I have watched too many players for too many year to believe that is a certainty in his so called 2nd year. Ya just never know.

I think his revelation will come this off season if it comes at all before the Dolphins release him. I think it is after next year that it is easy to let him go. I mean I'm still hoping it comes together in a year or so but I think this year is mostly a write off now for this cat, although anything can happen. Maybe standing on the sideline most of the time will prompt him to do something about it.

Jordan has to show something this year.

Coyle will play the guys who perform well at practice. Jordan has been gone for so long, he will need to show good play at practice before he gets any game time. I hope that the big guy can rebuild some trust.

Would love to see a four LB set with Misi and Jenkins in the middle and McCain and Jordan on the outside. McCain and Jordan could rush and cover when needed.

Aren't we stuck with him cap wise for another year?

After this season Jordan is owed $10.8M, $6.6M on 2 year's bonus. $1.7M salary net year, and $2.5M salary in 2016. All is guaranteed. If we cut him before June 1, we get hit for the $10.8M. Not gonna happen. If we cut him after June 1, we can split the hit at $5.4M 1n 2015 and 2016. Not likely at all.

However, if we trade him the trading team has to pick up the $4.2M in salary for two years, and we get hit with the $6.6M in bonus money. Make the trade after June 1, and hit can be split at $3.3M a year. Not a great option but, one which can be workable depending on his play.

His contract does have the offsets but, don't see that entering in.

Another factor I get the vibe Philbin simply doesn't like Jordan. Since he was draft Philbin comes of luke warm at best when talking about Jordan. I'm sure the juice suspension didn't help!
