The wildcat isn't, or at least wasn't a trick formation, it was a piece of the puzzle, this offense needs to be more complete. The bottom line is if the passing game doesn't become more productive and draw more attention the opposing DC's can focus more on defending against the wildcat, CAN YOU SAY ONE DIMENTIONAL. We have become a wildcat or pass offense, and we haven't passed well lately. We have dumped traditional running plays like the sweeps, screen plays and the like and have become very predictable. Hell I'd even take a Ginn reverse (hell did i just say Ginn). Each week the opposing secondary and line backers draw up closer and closer. Burn them deep or even complete a couple of intermediate pass plays or screens and things will open up again. One feeds the other. The wildcat hasn't been really effective unless Henne or White or Ronnie or whoever is at least showing that he or they can hit a pass here and there or that we can at least show some life in the more standard formations. We have the diversity to do this just look at the first half of the Saints game, damn we were unstoppable! LETS GET BACK TO DOLPHIN FOOTBALL!
